Worry over state of roads

Member of Parliament Rawle?Eastmond, the outgoing representative for St James North, is throwing his full support behind the branch’s choice Edmund Hinkson.
“This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased,” an upbeat Eastmond declared yesterday as he threw his arms around Hinkson during a brief tour of the constituency to examine some of the roads which need repairs.
The Opposition MP, who did not participate in last month’s nomination after holding the seat for the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) over the past two decades, predicted that Hinkson would perform better than he did at the polls.
“He will do better than me as long as I assist him,” Eastmond said. “There is absolutely no bad feelings between us. I endorsed him and I?have anointed him.”
