Buzz for B’s

We want?B’s!
That was the cry from clients who deliver scrap metal and other junk to B’s Recycling and Metal Dump at Cane Garden, St Thomas.
The scrapyard has not been taking metal since a massive fire three weeks ago but a number of people who made money delivering metallic material and other junk on a daily basis say the closure is hurting them financially.
A spokesman for some of the collectors said not only were they being paid less at the only other metal collection site – Scrap Man at Vaucluse, St Thomas – but they were hardly making any money because Scrap Man does not take bulk items such as refrigerators and washing machines, does not take dirty galvanised sheets and only takes 10 pounds of copper at any one time.
