And in the end, St Leonard’s Boys’ and the girls of Lester Vaughan came out tops in the preliminary of the one-off Barbados National Secondary Schools Athletics Championships at the Police Sports Club, Weymouth, St Michael, yesterday.
St Leonard’s were dominant in the sprints and had the satisfaction of gaining a 1-2 finish in the Under-17 Boys’ 100 metres won by Reco Griffith (No. 1671), ahead of Jacquone Hoyte (right).
