RIHANNA’S?MOTHER Monica Fenty will not be appearing in a court in Barbados to give her deposition in the lawsuit which her daughter has brought against her former accountants.
After a lot of legal wrangling to get a deposition from her, Fenty has apparently decided to meet with defence attorneys in Washington to give the statement.
Principal Crown Counsel Wayne Clarke, who was assigned to facilitate the taking of the deposition from Fenty yesterday in the High Court, told the MIDWEEK?NATION?that she had made arrangements to be deposed on Thursday in Washington, DC, instead of Barbados.
Clarke said he had informed the Registrar of this development, but he indicated that all systems were in place yesterday to take the deposition from Fenty. (MB)
