Despite heavy rain, there was still sports activity yesterday.
More than 900 competitors took part in the fourth annual ICBL Family Fun Walk and Run which was held during the morning.
The Heroes Day event, which started in front the Grantley Adams statue at Government Headquarters on Bay Street, attracted 241 runners for the 5K, a further 80 competitors for the 10K and a whopping 596 entrants for the 5K walk.
Here, the runners start the 5K which was eventually won by Patrick Bourne.
