Drugs found at Port

Jamaican Wilfred Jones, also known as Bryan Adams, was arrested and charged in relation to the seizure of 31 pounds of cannabis by Customs Personnel at the Bridgetown Port on Wednesday.
Following investigations, he was charged for the offences of possession, possession with intent to supply, trafficking and importation.
Customs and Excise personnel searched a consignment of car parts and other items, and the illegal drug was discovered in 18 brown taped packages concealed in the bottom of three crates used to transport the items.
Jones appeared at the District A Magistrate Court  yesterday and was remanded until May 6 May when he will appear at the District B Magistrate Court.
