Police probing shooting at BWA

Police are investigating a shooting incident at the Barbados Water Authority last night.
A release from the Royal Barbados Police Force today stated that the shooting took place at guard hut on the compound of the Water Authority in the Pine, St Michael.
“Around 10.30 pm on Wednesday the compound’s security guard and another employee were on duty at the guard hut when they encountered two men who ventured onto the compound.  They were confronted by the employees and one of the men, who was armed, discharged a shot and they both ran away,” reported the police.
Police noted there was no information to suggest this incident was an attempted robbery. (CM/PR)
