There has been a new development in the controversial Four Seasons project.
Professor Avinash Persaud, executive chairman of Paradise Beach Limited – developers of the Four Seasons Barbados project – has confirmed to the MIDWEEK NATION that two separate outfits were in talks with Paradise Beach Limited to buy out the stalled luxury facility.
Though he declined to go into details, the Barbadian economist, who specializes in finance, investment and public policy, said: “It is inappropriate for me to comment in detail at this time, but I can confirm that we are in advanced negotiations, separately, with two private sector investors looking to purchase the Four Seasons project and bring early fruition to the hotel.
“I think it is best for these negotiations that I do not comment further until they are completed.”
