The Maurice Byer Polyclinic Men’s Health Discussion Group is on a mission to increase its public profile.
The first of such groups attached to and sponsored by the eight polyclinics throughout the island, it remains the most active of them with an average attendance of 40 men at its monthly meetings, held at the Maurice Byer Polyclinic Station Hill, St Peter at 6 p.m. every last Monday of the month.
As part of its ongoing outreach programme, the group recently decided to donate a picnic table to Roland Edwards Primary School to facilitate more comfortable outdoor seating, according to Irwin Scantlebury, secretary of the group and teacher at the school. (PR)
