TWO FEMALES were taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by private vehicle this afternoon as a result of an accident involving two vans at Fairchild Street, St Michael.
According to reports, Leona Felicien, 63, of Grosvenor Road, Carrington Village, St Michael complained of pains to her neck, back and leg, while Merlene Edwards of 197 Kingsland Terrace Christ Church, complained of pains to her neck and back.
Police were kept busy directing traffic as the road became impassable for more than two-and-a-half hours. (RL)
