At least?five more convicted murderers who have been locked away in prison for decades are due to be freed this year.
A reliable source told the WEEKEND?NATION that the local Privy Council had been reviewing the cases of several convicted murderers whose death sentences had been commuted to life in prison and who had been behind bars for close to 30 years.
Among those being reviewed are Hallam Benjamin, Clifford Boxill and Malcolm Forde, imprisoned since 1982; Trevor Anderson Foster, who killed his elderly mother Ruby Grecia in 1988 by setting her house on fire;  and Patrick Greaves, who killed elderly shopkeeper Millicent Lyder in 1984.
Greaves’ partner in crime, Michael Taylor was released last Wednesday.
The source said all of these men could be out of prison by the end of the year.
