Tomas hits Tim’s

There was no music at the popular Spring Garden Highway entertainment spot, Tim’s on De Highway.
Instead, it was the roaring winds of Tropical Storm Tomas which reduced this facility to rubble.
When a Nation team arrived on the scene, there were scattered strips of galvanise and other metal fittings strewn all across the property.
Tomas, according to the 11 a.m. bulletin today, was packing winds of of near 75 miles per hour.
