Although I am nearly 40, I am madly in love with a young man. The age difference is not my problem. My problem is that I am married.
Even though my husband and I get on fairly well, I feel quite lovesick over this boy and sometimes feel that if he asks me to go to bed with him, I’ll say yes.
You should be able to understand from this that he does not know to what extent he interests me, although I suspect he knows I am attracted to him. He is a bit on the shy side and I am tempted to make the first move.
I feel that going to bed just once with him might cure me of this feverish fascination. What do you think?

I believe the kind of bed rest you are contemplating for your “lovesickness” is far from being a cure. You are more likely to become sicker in body, soul, mind and spirit.
You’re thinking of committing adultery and both you and I know that that it is wrong.
I strongly suggest you avoid any encounter with this young man that would contribute to a betrayal of your trusting husband.
If you give your love fever time and distance, it will subside.
