Sales cut by truck shift

Extremely poor!
This is how most of the vendors along the stretch of road at the back of the National Stadium have described sales during yesterday’s Grand Kadooment.
And they are upset!
Vendors told the DAILY NATION the reason for the drastic fall-off in sales was the change made last year, which sees only the revellers – and not the music and drinks trucks – passing before their stalls.
The trucks now drive across Codrington Road, making a right turn between the Stadium and the Barbados Lumber Company, going down Stadium Road, while the bands continue straight on to be judged.
