Prime Minister Freundel Stuart tonight made what he called Cabinet adjustments.
In a televised address to the nation at 8 p.m. Stuart said the changes will take effect from Wednesday, June 15.
The Prime Minister will now be responsible for National Security, the Public Service and Urban Development. Immigration also falls under his portfolio.
Denis Kellman now becomes Minister of Industry, Small Business and Rural Development.
Dr Denis Lowe is Minister of Drainage and the Environment. Previously he was also responsible for Water Resource Management.
Dr Esther Byer Suckoo now has Social Security added to her Labour portfolio.
Dr David Estwick is Minister of Agriculture, Food, Fisheries and Water Resource Management.
Michael Lashley is now Minster of Housing and Lands. He was relieved of Urban and Rural Development.
Patrick Todd is still Minister of State in Lashley’s ministry. (CM)
