Minister pleased

Results from?this year’s Common Entrance Examinations reveal that it has been a good year, but there is still work to be done.
Minister of Education Ronald Jones gave this assessment yesterday while noting that while there had been improved performaces, girls had again outperformed boys in both mathematics and English.
The top student was Abigail Durant of St Gabriel’s Primary School.
Top boy was Ibraheem Patel of the Al Falah School. He was the only boy among the top ten students, and was in ninth place.
Jones said results of the top ten were so close “that it would even be hard to cut them apart with a scalpel if you tried”. They were separated by a mere two per cent.
