DESPITE YESTERDAY’S persistent rain, preparations for today’s Kadooment Day celebrations did not stop.
This was evident at band houses as bandleaders and assistants were busy issuing costumes to revellers who braved the rain to collect them.
Stall-owners and their helpers were also spotted putting up temporary stalls and bars along the route, to service the hundreds of spectators expected to line the streets.
