THE CROWDS were not as large as last year, but the atmosphere was just as infectious when the MQI/Banks/Lime Pic-O-De-Crop finals came off at the Kensington Oval last night.
There were generally good performances from the ten finalists with a few outstanding acts being Popsicle in both halves, Adrian Clarke in the first and Gabby also in the first.
Kid Site however fell down in the first half as he sang Ain’t saying A Word causing him shout “come again” to the band.
However the programme ran smoothly from there on to end around 12 midnight. (JS)
