MALISA?CRICHLOW, 22, who lost her two-month old daughter and her left hand in a vehicle accident in April, is now trying to adapt to using her right hand.
Crichlow, who was left handed, told the SATURDAY SUN Thursday, “It’s tough but I am managing. I can still cook and get around.”
Crichlow, of Eastlyn, St George had a lengthy stay in the Intensive Care Unit of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital following the collision that involved a ZM?van and a parked trailer at Lower Estate, St Michael.
The accident resulted in the death of her baby daughter, Jakayla and Akalia Weir 17.
Malisa was in a group heading home from St James when the accident occurred.
They were carrying foodstuff for a picnic the family had planned for Monday, Easter bank holiday, at Folkestone, St James.
The ZM van was driven by Troy “Shabba” Clinton of Brereton Village, St Philip. (MK)
