There was a big turnout at “Landmark” the St Joseph home of Kay and Keith Robertson for the annual fund-raiser by the Lesley Legacy Foundation (LLF) set up to honour the memory of Lesley Barrow, a former Barbados Museum curator and attorney at law.
This year, instead of the usual cruise, the three-year-old foundation opted for a land-based jazz and art brunch at which young artists showcased their work. Among them were Alicia Daniel, a fine arts recipient of the two-year LLF and Versia Harris, recipient of the LLF?award given to the Barbados Community College’s graduating Associate Degree student who topped the list of students at Portfolio 2012.
The jazz band on stage included young saxophonist Joseph Callender, another LLF awardee.
