Retired Dean of St Michael’s Cathedral Harold Crichlow is the new Deputy President of the local Senate.
Crichlow, who is Dean Emeritus in the Anglican Church, moved up the ranks of the Senate Chamber today following the election of former Deputy President Kerry Ann Ifill to presidency of the Upper House.
Crichlow, an outspoken cleric, promised to do his best to support the new Senate president, who this week became the first woman and member of the differently-able community to hold such a high office. (GE)
