For your wall

Everything on the wall endears you to view and, as always, take home a painting or two.
On The Wall Gallery of fine arts and crafts, located at Earthworks Pottery Complex, Edgehill Heights, St Thomas, is a cosy nook for viewing some delightful paintings and craft – of all sizes and shapes.
The works of many artists can be found there, including Ann Dodson, Vanita Commissiong (owner of the gallery); Sofi Barnard, Paola Baldi-Gill, Boscoe Holder, John Stuart, Clairmonte Mapp, Rupert Piggott, Heather-Dawn Scott, Gina Foster, and the list goes on.
The varied works on display also represent the scenes of countries far and near – as far away as Italy and, of course, the works of those right in our backyard – the Caribbean, of course.
Oil paintings, acrylics, water paints, sketches, prints, and photography – both black and white and coloured are among the various media used to portray women and children, vendors, landscapes, village life, field workers, market scenes, musicians and the like.
Variety is definitely the spice of life as handcrafted and other pieces of art and craft lend to the colour and beauty of those paintings perched on the walls at On The Wall Art Gallery.
