Bushy Park as we know it, will host its final race meet today.
The day’s event, which is sponsored by Beacon Insurance, will feature a “four for the price of one” final at the 42-year-old motorsport track, which will be redeveloped into a multi-purpose racing facility. The work is due to be completed next year.
It is for this reason that the Barbados Auto Racing League has invited competitors from the Barbados Karting Association, the Barbados Association of Dragsters & Drifters and bikers to give racing fans a packed day of activities as a fitting finale at the local mecca for car racing.
Here is an aerial view of the Bushy Park track. (GP)
