POREY SPRING UNITED continued their improved performances this season with a come-from-behind 2-1 win over RBC Capital Markets Barbados Soccer Academy (BSA) in Zone 1 action in the Barbados Football Association’s Premier League on Saturday night at the Wildey Turf.
Weymouth Wales were their usual dominant selves in a 3-2 victory over Clayton’s Kola Tonic Notre Dame while the University of the West Indies (UWI) Blackbirds got their first win of the season, a 3-0 success against fellow strugglers Brittons Hill United in the night cap.
BSA looked on course to extend their unbeaten run to four games after Micah Boyce’s lob just before halftime, but Ramal Holder equalised from a rebound following a set play in the 55th minute.
BSA custodian Christopher Wilson inexplicably bundled over an attacker in the box to hand Porey Spring the initiative in the 76th minute.Â
