CARLTON SUPERMARKET in Black Rock, St Michael, is celebrating its 30th anniversary with year-long activities.
Yesterday, the supermarket gave back to its customers with free slices of a 58-inch by 44-inch cake made especially for the occasion.
“Yesterday [Wednesday] was the actual day we opened A1 Supermarket in Wildey 30 years ago and today we have a cake for all our customers,” said director Joyce Bynoe.
She said a range of events had been planned for the rest of the year, but she was not ready to reveal them as yet.
In addition, Bynoe said sister supermarket Emerald City would be celebrating its tenth anniversary in August. (CA)
