HOURS?AFTER LEADER?of the Barbados Labour Party (BLP) Owen Arthur called on the National Organization of Women (NOW) to speak up on an issue he deemed important, it has responded.
NOW has knocked comments by Democratic Labour Party (DLP) candidate Chris Sinckler about June Fowler, chairman of the Barbados Investors and Policyholders Alliance (BIPA).
But, it has raised its voice on another issue and directed its message to Arthur: “Reinstate Mia!”
In its Press release, NOW said it viewed the statement by Sinckler at a DLP meeting at Clevedale, Black Rock, St Michael last Friday night as “unfortunate”. (MB)
