Executive director of the Barbados Manufacturing Association (BMA) Bobby McKay said this year has been the most outstanding in her 15-year tenure.
“Even the people with the little microcompanies paid a lot of attention to their booths. The booths are really world-class . . . . I’m extremely, extremely impressed,” she said.
Among the attractions this year is the Barbados Holiday and Home Expo by the furniture manufacturers, which has been incorporated into BMEX.
The new initiative has resulted in a much bigger furniture presence this year. McKay said there was a new concept to the furniture display this year. (YB)
