Gift from the Heart for Oval

KENSINGTON OVAL, the “Mecca” of cricket, has just received a portable machine costing $4 500 to be used to get the heart pumping again.
The automated external defibrillator was handed over by the Heart & Stroke Foundation yesterday during a ceremony at the Oval, in Fontabelle, St Michael.

Looking on is instructor from the foundation, Clyde Cox (second right), and physiotherapist from Blackburn Rovers Football Club in England, David Fevre, who is on the island for today’s and tomorrow’s Football Legends Tournament.
