A circus will bein the limelight at this year’s Junior Kadooment on July 28.
That will be made possible by the little masqueraders who will participate in the St Gabriel’s Junior Kadooment band as they follow the theme Under The Big Top.
The sections for the band, whose costumes were designed by successful bandleader Renee Ratcliffe, include The Cotton Candy, The Clowns, The Fortune Teller and The Lion and The Lion Tamer.
There was lots of excitement and “wow” among students at the school yesterday as they expressed satisfaction with the costumes modelled by schoolmates during the band launch.
Here, students modelling the costumes from each section of the band making their way through a parted section of the audience which included their amazed schoolmates.
