FIVE HAYNESVILLE, ST JAMES residents were able to breathe a big sigh of relief yesterday when they became homeowners.
The five previously rented National Housing Corporation (NHC) units but seized the opportunity for ownership under the Government programme for people who have been paying rent for 20 years or more.
An NHC team, headed by general manager Lanette Napolean-Young, as well as Minister of Housing Michael Lashley and parliamentary representative for St James South Donville Inniss, presented the conveyances to the new homeowners. (CA)
