Still a school of choice

THE BEACON OF THE NORTH has stood up to its motto.
In the midst of all the adversity stemming from two strikes by teachers this school year alone, Alexandra School is shining like the stars  by emerging as a school of choice for parents and students.
Minister of Education Ronald Jones announced yesterday that the St Peter school had its “full complement of students”.
He was speaking at a Press conference at which the results on this year’s exam were announced.
In responding to a question as to whether there were teachers encouraging students not to choose Alexandra as an option, Jones said: “We have not encountered that.”
