YESTERDAY’S CRASH in Ruby, St Philip, has impacted the Burke family of Train Road, Marchfield, St Philip, and the Mason family of Browne’s Gap, Sargeant’s Village, Christ Church.
The two households have been eternally joined by the fatal incident, which has meant permanent separation of two of their loved ones.
Two-year-old Kayden Kellman is now an orphan, having lost his father last May in a shooting incident with police in Bartlett’s Tenantry, Sargeant’s Village. Yesterday’s smash-up claimed the life of his mother Keisha Mason, who died on the spot.
Kayden’s grandmother Pearla Mason believes Keisha’s untimely passing will have a lasting impact on her only son, still too young to understand his full loss and whom Keisha fondly described as her “heartbeat” and whom she had always sought to put first in her life. (JS/AH)
