FOUR SCHOOLS were burglarized in the last week, including three in one night.
Yesterday, police confirmed that three rural primary schools were broken into on Wednesday night and cash and various articles stolen, while last Friday the Learning Centre was illegally entered.
The schools were St Elizabeth Primary in St Joseph, DaCosta Edwards and Chalky Mount in St Andrew.
Cicely King, principal at St Elizabeth, said the thieves took $300 to $400, ransacked her office strewing papers all over the floor and damaging three filing cabinets.
“We are all in shock,” said King.
