Getting set for Bridgetown Market

The?four-lane?Spring?Garden Highway is being transformed into the annual open-air-shopping and fun-filled extravaganza Bridgetown Market, to be staged this weekend.
This event, one of the showpieces of Crop Over, is a favourite of locals and tourists alike who take in the craft, cuisine and culture on display.
The action on Spring Garden gets going on Friday night/Saturday morning when the Roberts/Stag/Banks Foreday Morning Jam culminates there.
The official start of Bridgetown Market is on Saturday and it concludes the following day. Each day it runs from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. However, the action on Spring Garden continues next Monday, Grand Kadooment Day, when the costume bands converge there at the end of their jump-up.
