WINMARIE BOWEN (right) was the toast of Springer Memorial School yesterday. She copped Student of the Year, Principal’s Award, Chairman’s Award and a host of other accolades for her academic and sporting achievements.
Winmarie gained seven CXCs, including a distinction in biology, and has transferred to sixth form at Combermere.
She was invited to cricket trials with twin sister Winmalecia (left) and wanted to pursue advanced biology at Queen’s College, but had already obtained her books and uniform for Combermere by the time she got the QC offer.
