EARL Maynard knows what it is like to be hailed and honoured overseas for his international bodybuilding feats. But when it happened at home for the first time over the weekend, the two-time Mr Universe winner was so overcome with emotion, he wept.
Maynard was recognised for his oustanding contribution in bodybuilding and fitness from the World Natural Bodybuilding Federation and the International Natural Bodybuilding Federation at the Barbados Bodybuilding Classic, at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre.
“I am really touched and I feel honoured. To be honoured at home is special,” said Maynard, a product of Carrington Village.
