Road misery in St Andrew

WHY SIX YEARS?
That is the question on the lips of residents of several communities in St Andrew as they wonder why a road that has been under construction since 2008 remains unfinished.
From Haggatts Hill to St Simon’s and on to Kings Street, the residents have been dealing with  clouds of dust, potholes and vehicle repairs due to the unfinished road.
St Simon’s resident Richard Brooker said no one – neither contractor, nor the Ministry of Transport and Works – was telling members of the community anything, and this had been the case from the commencement of the work.
“Not even a town hall meeting,” Brooker said. (LK)
