Nine winners are set to challenge raging favourite Aston Martin today at 4:40 p.m. in the feature Michael Parravicino Memorial Hopeful Breeders’ Stakes & Trophy over 1 570 metres at the Garrison Savannah.
Mark Armstrong-owned Aston Martin has captured the hearts of many with his victories in the Diamonds International Mont Blanc Challenge Stakes & Trophy and the Barbados Thoroughbred Breeders’ Association Breeders’ Stakes & Trophy, both over 1 570 metres.
A win here would strengthen the public’s impression of the Victor Cheeseman-trained colt as the next possible Triple Crown winner, following in the footsteps of a select few that have etched their names in the Turf Club history books.
Aston Martin’s main competition should come from Chatter Box, Dipitinmoney, Galaxy and Nuf Trouble.
