Music protest

A?BAND of angry music students yesterday morning protested the recent changes to the times allowed to play music in and around the performance hall at the Barbados Community College (BCC).
Students marched to the principal’s office, while playing their instruments, and requested an urgent meeting to discuss the changes – which they said would impact treatly on practice and their examinations.
The DAILY?NATION?was informed that principal Gladstone Best did hold a meeting with a seven-member team representating the students, as well as head of the Music Department, Roger Gittens. Also in attendance were the deputy principal and the registrar.
It is understood that after the hour-and-a-half meeting temporary changes were made to the revised schedule.
