STAFF OF BOUGAINVILLEA BEACH RESORT was recently told to be proud of their success and continue to strive for excellence.
Speaking at the hotel’s annual staff awards ceremony, president of the Barbados Hotel and Tourism Association Colin Jordan urged management and staff to “be proud of excellence”.
“In our society standing out and being the best don’t seem to be what we are encouraged to do, but be proud of your success and continue to strive for excellence in whatever you do. Bougainvillea is a model example for success in the tourism business,” he added.
He told those present that “profit is not a bad word” and “it is not fair to put money into a business and not expect profit.”
