UPDATE: The natural gas line which was damaged in an early morning accident along Highway 1 has now been repaired and police are reporting that traffic is flowing again.
Police were on the scene this morning of an accident near Crusher Site Road, Prospect, St James where a car struck a natural gas line.
Police told NATIONNews there were reports that gas was escaping and traffic had to be diverted at the Frank Worrell roundabout at the bottom of University Hill and Holders Hill, Paynes Bay in St James. (CM)
