The athletics track at the National Stadium is finally being rolled out.
After a delay on Friday caused by rain, workmen got the opportunity to begin putting down the yellow and blue Mondo all-weather running surface yesterday.
It will be a phased process which started with the areas in the final 100 metres.
Work will proceed along the backstretch and the curves and it is anticipated that the job would be finished by next month.
