There were some serious issues coming from the platforms in the St John by-election but for the most part things were light-hearted.
Many supporters armed with warm clothing for the chilly St John nights and provisional seating took up a prime location in front of the platform. The intention was not to miss a single word from their favourite speakers.
And, on either side of the political divide, the speakers did not disappoint. Star speakers, some using their trademark robust language, brought many a smile to their supporters while others threw them into uncontrollable fits of laughter.
Here are some of the faces of the unforgettable moments during the two-week campaign. Constituents in the rural parish vote tomorrow in their second by-election in 23 years.
