Fire officers spent all today battling a fire at an old bond facility in Oldbury, St Philip.
When contacted this afternoon, officials said that seven fire tenders were at the scene of the fire which started at about 7:35 p.m. on Friday.
An officer from Fire Service headquarters said the blaze may continue to burn for a while because of a few “hot spots”.
Billows of thick, black smoke filled the atmosphere all day at the facility a short distance away from the Grantley Adams International Airport. (LK)
