There is speculation about the health of General Secretary of the Barbados Workers’ Union Sir Roy Trotman days after he participated in the annual May Day celebrations with Barbadian workers.
However, a Union source said today there was no cause for alarm since the outgoing General Sectary had only taken a few days leave to attend to a personal matter.
Sir Roy gave his final May Day address as General Secretary and will be stepping down from that position in August. (GC)
