Approximately ten teachers and members of the executive of the Barbados Secondary Teachers’ Union (BSTU) are currently at headquarters preparing for a meeting.
President Mary Redman arrived close to 10 a.m. and advised members of the Press that she would be speaking to them later on today.
Teachers were supposed to report to their respective schools this morning, but Redman said the union found it necessary to meet with the teachers affected by the transfers to provide counseling and guidance. (YB)
