Minister of Sport John King is calling for a mammoth launch of sports in the communities.
King said that it is important that a major thrust is made across the communities to take local sport to another level.
“I want to see in the near future that we have represented on every weekend, on every day, of every month, some sporting federation having workshops, displays, training sessions in the communities teaching people archery and unusual things like tai-chi that we don’t see on a regular basis,” he said.
King said there was a need to see more coaching of popular sports such as football. (MK)
