Golding’s final address as PM tonight

KINGSTON — Prime Minister, Bruce Golding, will deliver his final address to the nation, as Prime Minister tonight in a broadcast to be aired at 8 on all major radio and television stations. Golding is expected to address, among other things, steps that have already been taken to ensure the smooth transition of leadership to Prime Minister Designate, Andrew Holness, tomorrow. Yesterday Golding met with members of the diplomatic corps, the Office of the Prime Minister and the Cabinet, and expressed his appreciation for their cooperation and support throughout his four years as head of the government.

The Prime Minister expressed appreciation to the staff for their continued support and urged them to continue being the flagship of the public service.

 
 
Golding’s national broadcast will be carried on all radio and television stations and will be streamed live on the Internet at http://www.jis.gov.jm/livestream.
