A ST MICHAEL family is living in fear and bewilderment after repeated stoning of its home.
The vandalism has steadily worsened, with the assailant (or assailants) throwing a piece of brick wrapped in burning material through a window of the house in Station Hill, singeing curtains and damaging a mattress around 11 a.m. yesterday.
“We’ve never done a boy anything but the police are not doing anything [to help us] either,” said Faye Tudor.
Tudor and her two children, niece and nephew live with her aunt Ina Reid, who has resided in Station Hill since 1943.
Tudor said their problems started in January, then cooled off in May, only to resume this month. “Since Saturday we have to look out [for stoning] every other day,” she said.
Almost all of the windows on one side of the house, located about 50 yards from District “A” Police Station, have been shattered as well as the glass in the front door. The family has resorted to boarding up the windows. (CA)
