Dari-Anne Gibson’s outstanding routine made her the queen of the Island Fitness Pageant at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre on Sunday night.

But it was just one point which separated her and second placed contestant Paulette Klasicki who was a vision in her swimsuit and gave a flawless response in the question and answer segment.

They were first and second with 365 and 364 points while Nikita King gave a credible performance on the night to take the third place spot with 345 points.

Gibson’s dance background gave her the edge in the fitness segment as she won the judges’ favour with her fluid and flexible movements which showcased a high level of difficulty and strength as she executed her captivating flips and tricks. (RG)
